Lifestyle

Over the past few years, I’ve become more aware of how much lifestyle quietly affects everything — mood, energy, hormones, patience, resilience. Especially as I move closer to perimenopause (I know it’s coming). I’m not waiting for symptoms to bulldoze me. I’m trying to prepare for it properly.

That’s meant making changes at home too. Clearing out overly processed food. Overhauling the fridge and pantry. Rethinking skincare and cleaning products. Reducing the low-level chemical load where I can, without turning the house into a wellness cult compound.

It’s also meant looking at habits. Sleep. Alcohol. Stress management. Morning routines. Self-care that isn’t just candles and bubble baths, but actual maintenance. Boundaries, quiet time, walking, lifting, reading, switching off.

I don’t do extremes. I don’t do perfection and I’m not claiming to be perfect or getting everything right. But I’m far more intentional now.

This page is where I document those shifts. What I’ve changed, what’s stuck, what hasn’t, and how I’m building a lifestyle that supports midlife instead of fighting it.

No hype. No detox teas. Just steady improvements.
